UNITED EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
originally began as Nustar Employment,
an agency whose purpose was to place people over the age of
fifty in the workplace. While providing this service, it was
discovered that there was a great need for temporary employees
of all ages. During this time employers trusted Nustar to
provide them with qualified individuals to fill their immediate
employment needs.
The business was purchased, and the name changed
to UNITED EMPLOYMENT SERVICES in 2002 by
David White, who even after the downslide of the economy from
September 11, 2001, had a vision of the company’s capabilities
for progress and growth. With a goal to contract with more
companies and to service them with competent temporary employees,
he joined forces with Joe Brandeberry. Both David and Joe
were partners in the business. Joe with an impressive background
in sales and service, realized the potential of the business,
by not only providing temporary employees, but also permanent
placements. By uniting the needs of an employer with the proper
employees, Joe was a driving force of the great period of
growth of United Employment Services.
In January 2006, Joe Brandeberry purchased
David White’s share of the company. Now the CEO and
sole owner of UNITED EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
his vision is to continually develop relationships with both
employers and employees. Long term strategic planning will
move the company into the professional workforce placement,
and franchising opportunities.
UNITED EMPLOYMENT SERVICES’
growth has resulted in building relationships with
local companies and servicing their needs for skilled employees,
in turn helping the community growth. UNITED EMPLOYMENT
SERVICES has, since 2002, experience a business increase
of 90%, steadily developing into one of South Central Michigan's top
temporary/permanent job placement companies.
